Family Fun!
There never seems to be a lack of things to do for family fun in the Augusta area! Here are some of my FAVORITE stops for family fun, along with a list of some popular events and some must-follow people who are always "in the know!" This list is not-by FAR- a complete list!

Area Playgrounds:
Evans Town Center Park-
7016 Evans Town Center Blvd, Evans 30809

Two HUGE play structures, one smaller one, swings, splash pad (just fountains), rentable pavilions, walking paths and open fields Lots of events held here throughout the year.

Evans Library Pavilion Park-
7022 Evans Town Center Blvd (right across the street from Evans Town Center Park)
Two separate play areas, true splash pad, rentable pavilions, a pond with walking trail, agility area. Lots of shade! Great place for a smaller birthday party!

Riverview Park-
100 Riverview Drive, North Augusta, SC 29841
One larger play structure, a few swings, and a new, HUGE sports-themed splash pad. Not a ton of shade, but a super fun playground! Riverview park has a lot of great areas to explore and the Greenway runs right through the park.

Brookfield Park-
2740 Mayo Rd, Augusta 30909
Two separate large play structures completely separated with a large, rentable pavilion in between. Quarter mile walking trail around a nice, flat grassy field. One big water "Spout" to cool off in. Play structure are NOT covered, but there are some covered seating gazebos and some trees.

Warren Road Community Center-
300 Warren Rd, Augusta 30907
I love this one for the SHADE! A tiny bit older but super fun. There are basketball courts and tennis courts, and the community center is rentable for events. Large quarter mile walking track.

Fun for kids AND adults- and super fun birthday parties! Bowling (along with reservable VIP lanes), arcade, bumper cars, laser tag, restaurant, full bar. Most family friendly during the daytime hours. Can be busy on the weekends.

Seasonal Attractions and Events:
Steeds Dairy Farm-
Steeds Dairy is on of our family's FAVORITE places to go in the Fall. It is located in Grovetown and is family owned/operated! At one time, it was a working dairy farm! These days its a family fun zone complete with jumping pillow, giant silo slides, play area, corn maze, "petting zoo" and seasonally, a pumpkin patch! There are rentable gazebos- perfect for a fall party. We could spend all day out there!

Thunder Over Evans-
Historically on Veteran's Day in mid-May, Thunder Over Evans is an all day, family friendly outdoor event held at Evans Town Center Park/Lady Antebellum Amphitheater. It celebrates all of our Military service members, complete with tons of vendors, food, live music, tons of inflatables for the kids, and the night always ends with an INSANE fire work show! This is a DON'T MISS event in the CSRA! Get there early and bring a blanket/chairs! And plenty of water and sunscreen!
