Fat Man's Cafe- Open for breakfast and lunch,  it's traditional Southern comfort food at its best. The Fat Man's brand is an Augusta legend- and for us, a family favorite. Farmhaus- If a burger is what you are craving- look no further. Farm to table model (same owners as Frog Hollow and the Frog and Hen) but in a walk up, casual setting. Southbound Smokehouse-I am a bit of a barbeque snob- and Southbound REALLY hits the nail on the head. PLUS, the menu boasts more than just BBQ with delicious cantina options- along with a fun atmosphere, with live bands and trivia on different nights of the week. Old McDonald Fish Camp- Since 1977, people have driven from all over the area to dine at this one of a kind restaurant. My kids love it for the farm animals you can feed outside and the all you can eat grits and hushpuppies. My husband loves it for the fish! Very quaint log cabin on a pond. Augsburghaus- One of my husbands favorites and one of the only places in the area to get traditional, authentic, made from scratch German cuisine.
